Getting counseling

Thank you for choosing VIEW.
In the first session, we will start after confirming and approving the following items together. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at that time and at any time after the session begins.
VIEW counselors value that you can receive counseling with peace of mind.

1. 1. The secret is kept safely

We will keep all confidentiality, including your initiation in therapy,  your personal information, and all the contents of the session. For confidentiality, please see VIEW's privacy policy.

2. To receive counseling

• Please access the online meeting link provided in advance so that you can start at your reserved time. Please note that if you are late, you cannot change the end time of counseling.

• Counseling is available to the person who applied at the start. However, as a general rule, no one other than the person himself/herself can attend the counseling.

• If you do any harm to yourself or others or your belongings during the session,  we may interrupt the session. If there is a crisis or emergency, we will contact law enforcement or the medical emergency office. 

• If you are undergoing psychiatry or psychosomatic medicine at the start or after the start, be sure to consult with your doctor.

• The counselor will not be able to respond outside of the reserved time or urgently. In case of emergency, please use the emergency or various hotlines.

 

3. 3. Counseling fee, payment, and cancellation

• The counseling fee is an advance payment system. Please pay to the designated method at least 24 hours before the session starts.

• In case of cancellation, please be sure to contact us by email.

• If you notify us of cancellation 24 hours before your reservation (session start date and time), we will refund the full amount, excluding the transfer fee for a refund (you may use it as a credit for the next session). Subsequent cancellations will be charged 100% of the fee

• In the following cases, we will not accept a cancellation fee.

  • When it becomes impossible to hold a normal session due to a disaster or man-made disaster.

  • When requesting cancellation due to the circumstances of the counselor.
